Youth Choirs
We believe the optimal age to start private voice lessons is 12-14 years old, after voices have changed. However, we recognize that children love to sing! It’s important to learn proper technique and vocal health at a young age. We know if we can teach our littles proper vocal technique when they move into private lessons, they are worlds ahead of the game. We also avoid bad habits and potential damage to vocal chords.

Choirs are the perfect place for this learning to happen. Everything is taught on their learning levels.
Explorers Choir
Ages 8-11 years old
This choir is designed for young and aspiring singers who enjoy singing and want to take their skills to the next level. The class will focus on proper singing and breathing techniques, and will offer students an introduction to music theory. The choir will learn songs and perform out in the community, as well as at Allegro events and Recitals. Class taught by Katy Benko Miner and meets on Tuesdays 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM.​

Adventures/Legends Show Choir
Ages 12-18 years old
This choir is designed for students who have already developed a love for singing and performing. In this class, students will work on more challenging musical arrangements - all with performance and showmanship in mind. Much of the music performed in this class will be Musical Theatre and Contemporary songs. Students will learn correct singing and breathing techniques, as well as harmonizing skills and music theory. The choir will perform out in the community, as well as at Allegro events and Recitals.​ Class taught by Katy Benko Miner and meets on Thursdays 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM.​
