Corinne Whitaker

Theatre

Corinne Johnson Whitaker is a Virginia native who has always had a love for the arts, and brings 15 years of theater and dance experience to Allegro. A middle school English teacher at Wakefield School, she has directed, assistant directed, and/or choreographed multiple shows for Wakefield’s theater department, including Shrek the Musical, Frozen Jr., Once Upon a Mattress, Seussical Jr., The Little Mermaid, and Mary Poppins Jr. On stage, she has recently appeared in Triune’s Annie and PWLT’s Head Over Heels. Corinne has trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary, and is currently continuing her dance education at Virginia Dance Center in Manassas. Her favorite dance style is tap. She lives in Manassas with her wife, Racheal, stepdaughter, Bella, and their cats, Daisy and Ophelia.
