About the Show

What happens when the internet goes down? For an entire week? In The Day the Internet Died by Ian McWethy and Jason Pizzarello, the citizens of Bloomington are about to find out. Without their screens, they suddenly have to figure out how to date, do research, shop, communicate, and navigate basic human interaction. The result is a hilarious look at just how dependent we have become on the internet.

But when the screens go dark, something else happens: we have the chance to look up, connect, and come together.

Following the play, our Adventurers take the stage for an evening of musical theatre celebrating connection, creativity, and the joy of being together. Featuring songs from Finding Neverland, Matilda, & Juliet, Grease, Mean Girls, Hamilton, and Dear Evan Hansen, Come Together reminds us that sometimes the best things happen when we put down the phone and do something real.
