The family of Woodwind instruments includes the flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, and saxophone. Though the instruments differ, our goal at Allegro remains the same – to ensure that students studying the instrument are given a comprehensive education. Woodwind instruction at Allegro may be independent of or complementary to the school band or orchestra program. Students will be guided in the development of solid technique, good intonation, and musicality. Private lessons will ensure that the student is able to hone these skills, while exploring a variety of musical styles and discovering the solo literature available to the instrument.
