Bob Swift

Voice, Piano, Pipe Organ

Bob began piano study at the age of seven and within a year or two was playing organ in church before his feet could touch the pedals. At the age of 15, he left his home church for employment in a much larger church in the Richmond, Virginia area. Seven years later, following studies in piano, pipe organ, and vocal performance at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia, and advanced training in teaching methods at the Academy of Music, Vienna, Austria, Bob began a professional music career spanning over 50 years.  He shares, “As teacher, I seek to move beyond the rudiments of technique to achieve mature expressions of the art.”
