Acrylic Painting

Experienced artist and art instructor Alice Rodway teaches students beginning techniques for painting including: canvas preparation, drawing the image, color mixing and theory, composition, and brush techniques.  Students will also learn about form and 3-dimensional thought as they render their painting.

Day/time: Tuesdays, 6pm-7:30pm
Dates: Sept. 21-Nov. 16 (8 weeks)
Ages: 8-15
Tuition: $168 + $20 materials fee – each student provides his/her own sketchbook and 5 pictures of animals or objects of interest

Beginning Scuplture

In this class, Alice Rodway teaches students beginning techniques for clay modeling and sculpting using an air-dry clay. Students will learn about form and 3-dimensional thought as they design their pieces.

Day/time: Wednesdays, 9am-10:30am
Dates: Sept. 22-Nov. 17 (8 weeks)
Ages: 8-15
Tuition: $168 + $25 materials fee – each student provides his/her own sketchbook and 5 pictures of animal heads or objects of interest
