Allegro In The Woods

One of the challenges we faced this past Performathon was trying to schedule all of our students within a 12 hour block of time. With over 450 students to schedule this seemed like an impossible task. Added to that was our brand new Youth Orchestra, dance, and ballet performances. There is plenty of room for these groups to rehearse but no room for an audience.

Through generous donations from Lowes in Gainesville, Connor Landscaping, Bontrager Masonry, and Andrew Coyne we were able to construct an outdoor performance stage. Allegro In The Woods became a reality in a few short days and is now an important part of our strategy to provide a performance venue for our students.

It took a lot of work (and a lot of favors) but we are proud of our outdoor stage and the many uses we have in store for it. Thank you for your support and check back soon for an upcoming schedule of outdoor summer events!

What an amazing day! Thank you to all of the staff and faculty at Allegro for the incredible work put into making the Performathon such a magnificent showcase of our young people’s talent! We couldn’t have been more proud of them and thank you all for your hard work in the many weeks leading up to it which made the day so special. How far Allegro has come in the few years since we started and we know this is only the beginning! The sky’s the limit! God bless you all!:0)
